A few Christmas pictures

Tyler with his MP3 player

Tanner's room is done up in wolves. Here is a clock that he got.

Trevor is our destuctive child. He loves to chop things up so we got him an axe this year as one of his gifts.

Alexis has been saving her money for awhile to buy a bike. So with some of the money left over from her other Christmas gifts we put some of her money with some Christmas money to get her the bike she wanted.

More Cows

We have some more calves. These are half of Tim's parents calves also.

Here are Oreo(the brown one) and Chips (black and white.

Then this one is Bob. He was quite a day old at this time. He still doesn't eat real well. Tim has quite a challenge getting him to eat at times.

Birthday Boy

Tanner celebrated his 8th birthday this week. He turned 8 on December 4th. He wanted pork chops, macaroni and cheese and corn for his birthday meal. Then Grandma Archibald baked his cake for him. She said to make sure that I mentioned that she got the "N" the right way this year and not backwards as happened last year. We are very thankful for Tanner and pray that he will some day serve the Lord.

A time of reflection

At this time of year I always remember back to December of another year. We were anxiously awaiting the birth of our third son. Tanner finally arrived on the 4th of December after a long time. He was a very big baby, 10 lbs. 10 1/2 ozs. We were released from the hospital on the 6th and that night I was running a very high fever. Called the doctors and was told to go to my doctor the next morning. By the evening of the 7th I was running a fever of 105 degrees. So we ended up in the ER and was transported to a major hospital. On the 8th I was put on life support and given a one percent chance to live. I had a kidney stone that was stuck and everything was backing up into my body. There were many people around the world praying for me. I was told on the 9th that God touched my body and my kidneys started to work. It is a miracle that I am alive today and I give God all of the glory for that. I believe that I would have died if people would not have prayed for me. God spared my life and I owe so much to Him. I am thankful through out the year for His touch on my life, but at this time of year it brings so much more to mind and I am so much more thankful.

I know there will be people that read this that remember all that happened eight years ago more than I will because I was unaware of alot that happened. But just give God the glory for His touch on my life. I do praise Him over and over.
