Happy Birthday Tim!
Tomorrow is my beloved husband's birthday. I tried to find him a card, balloon or something, but can not find anything here in the islands. I asked a couple of people, but they didn't know of any place and then one lady told me of a place & it was closed. So I made a card for him off of the computer and will bake a cake tomorrow. He wanted some toaster strudles for his birthday. We bought those and he enjoyed them. He had to settle for Apple flavor, then did not have any strawberry. Sorry honey!! I love you very much and am thankful that God brought you into my life. You are a wonderful husband and father. Thank you for loving me. Happy Birthday.

Laundry Day
Today I did laundry. This is an all day process. I am not one that likes to do laundry all week long so I try to do it once a week. Plus it helps to save on water to do it once a week. I start out by sorting all the clothes and then I go out to the shed. I pull the water hose in to the washer and fill it up. Then put my first load in and after it washes the water is pumped into a barrel on the left of the washer. Then back to the water hose to fill the washer up for the rinse cycle. After that cycle is over the water is pumped into a barrel on the right side of the washer. I then hang the clothes on the line and go back to the shed to fill the washer up with the wash water. I use a bucket to get it out of the barrels and back into the washer. I have to do this with every wash and rince cycle. When the water is to dirty to use anymore it is pumped out a hole in the shed to the outside. The wind blows fairly well here so it doesn't take long to dry on the line. The worst part of doing laundry for me is to put it away. I hate to put clothes away, it seems to take me forever to get it done. Otherwise I don't mind doing laundry

Happenings
I found a website that has some children's sunday school lessons, etc. We have been having Sunday school the past few weeks, but don't have any literature. So I've been telling stories with flannel graph. I'm not very good at it so I'm not sure how much the kids have been getting out of it. I didn't have anything for them to do after the story other than draw or color and the older kids didn't like that to well. And I never felt very prepared and confident about teaching. So I've been getting a lesson together from this website and some activities, etc. for the kids to work on after the story. The Lord has been helping me with this and I feel a bit better about teaching this coming Sunday.
Today is cloudy out and cooler. It feels real nice. We had a few sprinkles, but not much to help in our cistern. We need a good downpour of rain.
Our van broke down yesterday. We need another oil filter. We were at the beach and had to have a guy tow us back to the house. Now Tim has to figure out a way to get to town and see about another filter.

In Provo
Wow! This has been a trying few weeks for us. We first arrived here on Feb. 19th. A few days after the kids and I got sick. I think I was the sickest. It put me to bed for days. I couldn't do anything. The kids bounced back fairly well. We are all better thank the Lord. We then had to wait almost two weeks for our thing to clear customs. We now have our house set up and feeling like home. The kids are glad to have some of their toys, etc. to play with. We have been meeting with the church and finding out some of the things they want to see accomplished and what we want to see happen also. One thing that is very trying to me is to have so many Haitians come to my door asking for work. That is hard because we don't have the work for them and some of them are persistant. Please pray for us as we try to get some children's services started, etc.
