More Cows

We have some more cows. Our neighbor down the road gave us this calf because his mother wouldn't take care of him. This is the same kind as Belle. So this one is named Bully.

Here is Jr. He is a Holstein, but almost white. This one is my sister in laws.

This cow is Tim's Dad's. Her name is Lady.

My kids love being around the cows and have lots of fun.

Working in the Garden

Last Saturday Tim's nephew Steve and his wife Rebecca came out and helped us put some potatoes in the ground. We are very thankful their help. We ended up getting eight rows of potatoes in the ground.

Tim made something out of metal and wood to make mounds for the potatoes. It was funny to watch him and Steve make the mounds.

Before we planted the garden the kids made mounds of dirt for a dirt war. They had a lot of fun throwing dirt at one another.

Valentine's Day

I know that it seems strange to be putting things on about Valentine's Day with it being March, but with us not having internet and not being able to update the blog very often. I did find out that I can take my lap top to the library and get on the internet with my computer, so I will now be doing that more often and updating the blog.

I love the Willow figurines and this is the one Tim got me this year.

He also got me some roses and a teddy bear. It has been a sort of tradition to get my a bear since way back when. This year I told him to just get me a willow tree figurine, but he said that that didn't feel right and so he had to get the teddy bear also. I love Tim very much!

As for what I got Tim for Valentine's Day. it was very romantic!!! It was a tractor part that he needed for his tractor. That is what he wanted and so that is what he got!!

Trevor's 11th Birthday

Trevor's birthday was on February 1st. We had plans to celebrate his day on the 30th of January by having his grandparents and a friend over, but due to the bad weather we had to cancel that. So on the 1st he was allowed to open his birthday cards and present. If the weather permits we will have his friend over tomorrow and then he will get his cake and celebrate.

I love you Trevor.

Snow

Last Friday we started to get a snow storm. It was barely snowing and the kids headed outside and didn't come back in for a long time. They loved it, and I have to admit that I did too. I called my dad as soon as it started snowing. he laughs at me because he lives in Colorado and this snow here is nothing compared to what they get out there. We all enjoyed it though and by the time it stopped snowing a couple of days later we had probably close to five inches of snow or so. We had lots of fun sledding, etc. I even tried to push Tim down in the snow, but of course that failed and I ended up laying on the ground!!!

Just starting to snow.
