Please pray for Tyler. He is flying on his own to Colorado to spend the summer with my parents. This is the first time that he has flown alone. He has been wanting to do this for quite a while now and the Lord has worked it out to where he can go and then come back with them in July when they come back east. Last that I talked to Tyler he was on his last leg of the journey. He had a change over in MN. Things were going well and we thank the Lord for all that He has done thus far and trusting Him to continue to help.
The Lord has helped me in letting Tyler go. I know that at some point the mother has to allow her child to grow and spread his wings. I just never thought I would be allowing him to do this at the age of 14. Tyler is very well behaved for the most part and we trust him and God has given me a peace in allowing Tyler to do this. I know I will miss him over the next five weeks or so until I can have him safely back home, but know that he will enjoy his time with his grandparents too.
Please pray for him throughout today.

Mother's Day
I am blessed to be a Mother to four wonderful children. I'm thankful God has allowed me to have them here on earth with me to raise. I only pray that I fulfill that awesome calling that He has placed upon me.
I don't have any pictures because my batteries were dead in the camera.
Hope everyone Mother out there had a great day.

Tyler's 14th Birthday
Tyler turned 14 on Sunday, May 3rd. I'm just now having the time to post pictures of his birthday. We celebrated his birthday on Saturday because we had a service to go to on Sunday. His grandma baked his birthday cake for him and I'm thankful she did. I'm not good at doing cakes so this was a big help to me. Tyler picked out some small airplanes for his gifts. He collects airplanes. I'm glad that God gave me Tyler for my son. He is a good boy overall and I pray that he turns his life completely over to God and will serve Him one day.
Here is grandma and grandpa Archibald

Getting his airplanes.

Trying to blow out the candles. It took him a couple of blows to get them all out!

A lot of pictures
Here are some pictures of our trip, etc. We are very thankful to God for keeping us safe during our flight, travel, etc. We made it to Florida safely and left there on Monday the 27th to drive to North Carolina. We made it safely here after 11 to 12 hours of driving time. Everything went well and we thank the Lord for that. please pray with us to know God's direction in our next step that we are to take. The mission is wanting us to consider a few things and we are praying about those things. So we ask the everyone please pray with us.
Here is a picture of some of the kids the day before we left. They were playing one last time. There is Jenny, Larry, Trevor, Dan, Breon, and Tanner. Those were the only ones I could get to pose for the picture. The others ran off!
The night before we left Mesha was so gracious to spend a couple of hours braiding Alexis's hair. Alexis wanted her hair done so that her friends could see it all braided up with the beads. Alexis is already asking when she can get her hair braided again.

Alexis and Erianna. Eri has become such a part of our family that we hope she will come and spend some time with us at some point.

On Tuesday, Aprils 21st we were leaving the islands. We don't understand why God works things out in some ways that we would like to be done differently. But we trust God to know what is best and so we are resting in that. He will show us His direction on what to do when He wants to show us.

In this picture are a couple of American guys that Tim got to know during the hurricane, They happened to be there at the airport the same time we were, so they helped load our stuff into the plane. one of the pilots is helping also. We got to know Wes also during the hurricane, He stayed at our home some. The kids enjoyed getting to see him again and we were thankful that we knew one of the pilots.

A family picture in front of the DC-3 plane that MFI ( Missionary Flights International) fly. We are very thankful that we were able to fly with them. It ended up being much cheaper and we were able to take a bit more of out things with us.

I like the Willow Tree figurines and so Tim got me the one called Promise. I only have three of these figurines, but this one means a lot to me.
I got Tim some cologne. I had broken his in the islands by accident.
While in Florida we were also able to go out on a date. A college student, that is like a daughter to us watched all of the kids one evening. Thanks so much Alicia.

Then the kids in our home church in North Carolina had sent us some money to buy shoes for our kids. they had given this to us a week or so before we left the islands, but we thought we would hold on to it until we got to the States and went shopping at Walmart. So here are the kids new shoes. They love having them!!

Safe and sound
Just a quick note to let everyone know that we made it to Florida safely. The flight went well and we thank the Lord for His protection over us. As soon as a computer will let me I'll upload some pictures of the trip. We will be heading to North Carolina sometime around Monday morning Lord willing.
Please continue to pray for us. We have some decisions that need to be made within the next couple of months and we need God's direction in this.
Thanks to everyone for your continued prayer and support during this time.
God bless

Going to the States
Please pray for us today as we travel to Florida where we will be staying for about a week before heading to North Carolina. We've been very busy and we are tired. We need the strength to make it through the next couple of weeks especially. We have many prayer requests at this time.
- our safety, etc. as we travel.
- the church here in Provo
-our friends here in the islands.
- God's guidance in knowing what He wants us to do.
Thanks so very much to every one. We will try to post some pictures later on of us going to the States.
